This is an interesting one. The design looks slim, working and, well, almost complete! Intel’s reps tell us that it’s just a prototype and maybe this is something ASUS worked on before they decided on the 12 inch Eee Pad that we saw at the ASUS press conference but we like it and hope they pursue it on the Oak Trail platform in 2011. It looks like it’s currently on the Menlow platform.

I don’t know which is better the eepad or nice holder behind it. Sounds like JKK cant make up his mind either.
Did you know you’re standing right next to jkkmobile.com? I can’t remember if you two work together or not.
Nicole from Netbooknews.com was there too!
Hi Chippy!
Mary Lou Jepsen claimed she would be at this Computex:
“We will be at Computex (Taiwan’s largest trade show) June 1-5 in suite 627 in the Nangang Exhibition Center. Also our screens will be shown in products at the show booths of a half a dozen or more companies.”
Questions:
1. Did she really appear? Can you post any BETTER footage of a Pixel Qi screen (not in her wobbly hands, but SITTING UNDISTURBED on the stand, PLUS your camera being very steady and on a tripod, with an ordinary (IPS) LCD screen beside, to compare. Latest footage of comparison of iPad and Pixel Qi was genuine, undiluted trash, and was riduculed all over the Web.
2. Could you find that “half a dozen or more companies” showing their products with Pixel Qi screens? Any footage?
3. I know Liquavista guys decided not to participate with their product prototype, but what about Qualcomm’s Mirasol? Any new demonstrations of transflective screen technologies? Any new Tegra prototypes at nVidia stand?
4. In my blog, fineoils.blogspot.com , I started an essay about what future tablet computing should look like to be a true new generation of computing. It’s half done, but have a look and maybe leave me some critiques, as you know, your experience and opinions are very important to me.
Thank you
@jacaphene Have you seen Asus's EPad? Or eee Pad. Or whatever. http://bit.ly/93rhEi Asus is really excelling at making supercute comps.
The only problem with this video is that piece of black plastic blocking all the view! :)
The device looked interesting, the Intel babe (model) looked nice, but the background female voice at the show was really annoying..
