The Duet 3 11-inch with the Snapdragon 7c processor was a great Ultra-Mobile PC. I’ve been using mine for over a year now and I still find it a groundbreaker in terms of efficiency. The new 2024 Duet 11 / Gen 9, however, is a big step forward in terms of power and will replace the Duet 3. Here’s my review, updating as I go. You should find everything you need here. If not, ask in the comments!

As I prepare a full review of this 10.9-inch 2-in-1 ChromeOS based device I need to put something into perspective. I haven’t fully tested an ultra-mobile PC for over 6 years. I’m going to need some time to re-base my expectations because this Lenovo Duet 3 just seems too good. Update: I am testing the new, 2024 Duet Gen 9.

The UMPC is making a comeback, and it’s mostly thanks to the GPD Win. UMPCPortal is making a comeback too. Over the last year I’ve been working hard to salvage the site and bring it back to the standards that you expect. More on that, the problems this site had, and the outlook for UMPCs in 2019, follows.
