According to UMPCBuzz the SVM Blog got ahold of a Samsung Q1 and attempted to install Knoppix on it.

According to their post about it they weren’t able to get it installed or get Kubuntu to run on it due to a kernel panic.

At least now there is some real info about Linux running on the device. I’m sure within weeks of it being released there will be a distro for it. Those Linux hackers are crazy.
