In the last few days I’ve seen the lowest online retail price for the Samsung Q1 Ceegoo (NP-Q1-V000 – 512MB/40) drop by about 10%. (about 100 Euro.) The lowest price of the Samsung Q1 Casomii (NP-Q1-M000 – 1024/60GB) has also dropped around 10% from 1400 Euro to 1250 Euro.
Either the introduction of the R2H has killed Q1 sales (and why not, its pretty much the same on the inside with GPS and web cam and more thrown in for much less money!) or retailers are getting ready for the Samsung Q1b (NP-Q1B-V000 512/40GB) which looks like its only 9-11 days away in the U.S.
The Pentium version of the Q1 which has never been announced or advertised by Samsung as far as I know, looks like its still only available in the U.S. This is part number NP-Q1-V002. A search on Google brings up a lot of retailers offering it for around $1260 with 1GB ram and 60GB HDD.
Either way, its good news.
