Yesterday I introduced the ranking figures into the ultra mobile PC product list and today, while I’ve been in the coding mood, I’ve optimised the list to include more information on the products.
Firstly, I’ve removed the categories from the page. I don’t think its doing anyone any good dividing up the products into Origami and non-Origami. People are more interested in comparing specifications, not marketing terms. Instead, I’ve reorganised the table to include GPU info, the weight and a keyboard column.
All columns are sortable via the links on the top of each column and one of the advantages of removing the categories is that you can now see at a glance what the most popular UMPCs are on the portal. The three most recent devices are also shown in a separate box above the list.
I hope you find the list more useful now. If you want to recommend changes, please let me know.
