Engadget report: Mylo vs 770.

Here on the Carrypad ultra mobile PC portal, the Nokia 770 is regarded as an ultra-mobile PC. The Sony Mylo is not.

Engadget have a good article today that runs through the basic differences between the two devices. They are both offered at the same price and offer similar form factors but they both have a different focus. If anyone is considering these devices you should definitely read through the article.

I really like the Nokia device. The concept of the low-end 5″ web-pad is where I think we’ll see a great deal of focus in 2007 and beyond and now that you can buy a compete navigation kit for the Nokia, and have the really nice looking Canola media player application it makes it very good value too.

The Nokia 870 is the rumored follow-up device to the 770 and it appears that it will solve one of the big problems with the 770 – the lack of processing power. Unfortunately it looks like there’s still no keyboard going to be offered.

Steve.
