Which one would you marry? Which one would you sleep with and which one would you push off a cliff?
…and why?
P.S. You get to keep the phone as a pet!

It’s very tempting to focus on the new processor, memory and flash specification that doesn’t really show much of an improvement over the N800. Especially when you consider that the last N800 was pretty good, except for the processing power. You wonder whether Nokia’s tablet team has been told that it’s time move to the mass market and establish some high-ground before Internet devices built on Intel’s x86 platform turn up on the battleground. I’ll reserve final judgement until I’ve tested it because its possible that the software has been well streamlined but I won’t be expecting that 9-second Internet speed gap to be closed up completely! Mind you its attractive isn’t it. I feel the need despite the possible lack of speed!
More after the break…

And it looks like they’re official. images.
More images at Internet Tablet Talk but there are no specs. Is it a repackaged N800 or is it something new? Internet Tablet Talk says they will get specifications soon. Update: Specifications are available now.
Is that a rotate button on the frame?

Nokia have release images of the N810 internet tablet. Update: Specs are available now. More images at Internet Tablet Talk but there are no specs yet. Is it a repackaged N800 or is it something new? Internet Tablet Talk says they will get specifications soon. I wont be leaving my PC until those specs are out because this could be one amazing mobile internet device if they’ve fixed up the processing power issues. Reading a post on UltraMobileLife this morning about a Justin.TV kit that Dynamism have put together made me realize that I hadn’t actually concluded my own Justin.TV-style tests with the Everun and HSDPA. I have now though! And for the rest of the day I’m live. How bizarre! My wife thinks I’m nuts. I’m banned from the messy kitchen too. Suits me fine!
The Everun solution comes in at way under 1 kilo and can be put on your belt (I’m using a case from an MP3400 battery pack. Gallery here) Using a Philips webcam slipped into the neck of my T-shirt! The uplink is being provided by HSDPA and Wifi (depending on weather I’m in the house.) HSPDA (max 350kbps uplink) is via the Expedite HSDPA kit I got from Mobilx. Battery life on a standard battery is 3 hours. On the extended battery it will be between 5 and 6. (Still under 1KG!)

I’ve just received an email linking to new information about the Eee PC. There are four Models. All Linux based. No word on prices though. If the 2G Surf is $299, I’m guessing its $499 for the hi-end model. Just a guess though.

Frank (Ctitanic) is a guy that doesn’t mince his words. He likes his UMPCs strong and if its not up to scratch he’ll say so. I’m very interested to hear what he says about the Raon Digital Everun that he’s just got hold of because it uses one of the lowest performing processors on the market!
I’m betting it will be the perfect pool-side browsing partner for him though. The screen is bright and its small enough to sit on the table and leave enough space for the Cuban cigars and cocktail!
Enjoy, Frank!
