Check out the rest of the Black Friday Specials page for deals on other products as well. Again, these deals will only last until Sunday or possibly sooner if stock runs out, don’t let this one slip by.
If someone is considering the 900 for $299.99 from Dynamism please note the shipping charges!! (copy and paste from their site)
“U.S. Estimated Shipping (Insurance cost will be extra)
FedEx Standard Overnight: [$69.71]
FedEx Priority Overnight: [$86.83]
FedEx 2Day: [$37.47]
FedEx Express Saver: [$21.82]
FedEx Saturday Delivery: [$106.83]”
SO ADD INSURANCE STILL and
“Hawaiian and Alaskan customers: Add $18 to the U.S. shipping charges (above). Also, please note that the selected shipping method might not be available in these areas.”
Please note that I did NOT put any ZIP CODE it seems to be a flat rate setup! While $21-$37.47 isn’t THAT overrated for FedEx Express it is something you HAVE to add to the price, meaning out the door will AT LEAST be $320+ (with insurance to be added) while I got my 901 shipped from Tigerdirect for $351 shipped!
….why not get the 901 for $349.99 +$2 shipping (yes TWO dollar shipping)

I decided to do some more comparing:
Acer Aspire one $299.99
(with same overflated shipping as mentioned bove)
Amazon $299.99 with FREE SUPER SHIPPING!

OQO Dynamism $1299.99
J&R $1249

Generally speaking I found most of these through searching on AMAZON then some times going to the sellers own webpage where many times the end price ends up being better than on Amazon (as with my EEE 901 from Tigerdirect).
I think Dynamism is only competitive in the “directly from Japan” sector of their offerings. But I find their response time AND shipping time not to be the greatest. The EEE I’m typing this on (900) is from Dynamism :)
