Engadget stumbled across this little Carrypad a short while ago.

No word on detailed specs (like does it run a high-powered platform?) but…

…lookin’ pretty sharp, as it boasted a 7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) resolution display, integrated WiFi, a non-removable battery good for eight hours or so and a full QWERTY keyboard. It was also packing a trackball setup, an SD card slot, a few USB ports and audio in / out. We were told that the design was still being finalized and that it wouldn’t ship until mid-2009 at the earliest.

Engadget have some more pics.

If only this would’ve been the size of the Sony P500 there wouldn’t have been any doubt in my mind!

Runs on Windows Mobile, so not a true competitor to the Vaio P etc.

    Chippy,

Is the Everun Note touch type-able (is that a word)? Currently doing a lot of work on my OQO 02. Seems like the review on the 24S puts that as the most attractive $1,000.00 device in this class/7 inch screen laptop.
