What Devices do the TravelBlogCamp Bloggers Use?

Posted on 10 November 2009

I wish I had heard about this event before today because I would have made an effort to get over to London for a chat and a few beers. I’m sure we could have a great conversation around the mobile computing devices and that I could learn a lot from the bloggers that are attending.

Mini review: Cool Bananas George Street Netbook bag

Posted on 10 November 2009

Mobilx have been working hard. Not only have they picked up the UMID and Viliv devices but they’ve just sealed the deal on the E-King S515 tilt/slider UMPC.

It’s the mini tilt/slider form factor that many of us wanted to see when the HTC Shift was around and it’s beaten the similar KAX-15 to the market.

Stylish 640gm 8” UMPC with 3G, GPS for just 470 Euros…with a Gotcha!

Posted on 09 November 2009

It’s a Sony Vaio P and in my local online stores I’m seeing this ultra-mobile PC for just 470 Euros. It’s a shock to me because the last time I looked, the Sony Vaio P’s were selling for near 1000 Euros. There’s one important thing to note about this offer though…

My Luxury Problem (Pic.)

Posted on 07 November 2009

My Luxury Problem, originally uploaded by umpcportal.com. I had to head out of the door this morning for a short 1.5hr appointment and my biggest worry was choosing a device to take with me. I’m having this issue a lot now. When you’ve got a number of devices that you really get on well with it becomes a problem. A luxury problem. N82 + U2010 was my final choice. What would yours be?
