Lenovo IdeaPad S10-t3 Multi-Touch Convertible Unboxing

Posted on 14 February 2010, Last updated on 14 February 2010 by

lenovo Netbooknews.de has the IdeaPad S10-t3 [Product page] and pops the box open to let us all have a look. This multitouch convertible looks quite slick and comes with a massive battery. They were even kind enough to include an English unboxing (embedded below) in addition to their usual German one.

That actually looks pretty nice. I assume it’s available now or very soon to be available?

Yeah I found that earlier. Problem is if I were to get this I’d want the 8 cell battery and it seems to be unavailable outside Europe.

does it have feature for a 3G card upgrade ?

  10. Marauderz says:

well… the SIM slot IS there, and opening up the maintainence hatch, I see one empty slot that could house a card of some kind, but am not familiar enough with these things to know what is it for.

  11. lanlanb says:

Looks great! My only concern is the screen resolution at 1024×600. If they bump this up to 1200 (or 1366 as on the T1028X) then would be good to go. That current height at 600 is not to application friendly.

  12. paquito says:

Agree with lanlanb. This looks good fusion of the Vaio P and U820 and feels so tempting but the screen resolution is a bit of a deal breaker. I wonder how Fujitsu managed to cramped better resolutions with a much smaller screens on the U820 and UH900. I’m thinking twice yet…

US$600 for an ATOM machine?! WTF? Srsly?

  14. pan.sapiens says:

Windows 7 starter = no windows touch ->what’s the point???

  15. Marauderz says:

I guess they just wanted to bring the cost down to use Starter edition.

  16. Luc says:

What happened to the Viliv S10? Same name but it does have higher resolution screen and great battery life it seems.

Wouldn’t there be a review on UMPC for the S10 soon?

  17. Paul says:

I’m with Luc — the Viliv S10 is the machine I’m waiting for. Really hope we hear something about that someday soon.
