I’ve just posted news over at UMPCPortal about a Wistron MeeGo Tablet based on Moorestown, running MeeGo. There’s more though. Take this for a huge hint about what’s happening at the Linpus stand… And this, a netbook platform being used to demonstrate MeeGo. (Video demo of that one later)

I’ve just stepped away from a tablet-fest. It’s like I’m partying in 2006, Origami style, here! The difference is that these devices are thin, look good and run from 9 to 12 inches. The most interesting was, of course, the thinnest device which apparently runs on Moorestown with MeeGo which means, this is a smart slate. E.g. Always-on. Day 0 is over, Day 1 has started and in a few hours, the doors open but before we get into that, let’s go over the Day 0 news from my point of view. It stared with an interesting leak press conference with ARM which highlighted cloud services, a changing market and Android. Lots of Android! You’ll see ‘Eagle’ on that second slide.
