Dynamism is gearing up to sell Archos’ latest Android tablets. They’ll be offering the top three models (check out the tracking page for full specs):
- Archos 43: starting at $199, available with 8GB or 16GB flash drive [tracking page]
- Archos 70: starting at $249, available with 8GB flash drive, or 250GB HDD [tracking page]
- Archos 101: starting at $299, available with 8GB or 16GB flash drive [tracking page]
Pre-orders are not yet available but you can sign up for availability notifications from Dynamism on their Purchase page. We’ll hopefully see these tablets start to become available in mid-October, but Archos hasn’t said anything official just yet.
….AND on CDW!
i have a bookmark for the pixmania.com archos 43 page where they claim it should show up 21/10. The bigger ones do not show up yet tho.
Chippy,
has Archos stated whether they will be updating these to Gingerbread?
Nope, they’re gonna update them to banana bread!!
the 101 is soooo nice.
I want it with maemo or meego or even ubuntu
all those devices just lack the option to put something else on it… that would make em really sexy (to me :-)). If I want a blackbox that just works I’ll go get an ipad!
If Archos do the same as they did for the 5IT and 5MIT, that is release a angstrom build for their devices, it may happen.
