ECS Oaktrail Tablets Image Set

I have a meeting with ECS tomorrow and will get some videos made of these Oaktrail-based 7 inch and 10 inch tablets but in the meantime I’ve uploaded a bunch of images. Both designs looks good. The 7 inch design is non working and the version I have in my hand is not the current industrial design as seem in the display cabinet images.

I’m guessing the market for Windows tablets with 5 inch screens is too small. Too bad. I would love to get one if it had a real mouse (not the one on the Viliv S5 or Ocosmos). If only Viliv would make a smaller version of their new 7 inch tablet that has a trackpad.

I agree about the mouse. The main reason I got the N5 over the S5 was for the real mouse controls. Windows really needs a mouse. Many websites require a mouse too like mouse over elements. Sites that use Flash for navigation don’t really work well with touch input. Controls for Flash videos and games rely on mouse input too.

Often times I even wish my Android phone has a mouse for the browser.

An S5 with Oak Trail and real mouse would be awesome.
