Chinese computer maker Haier is showing off an Ultrabook this week at the 2012 Beijing Intel Develop Forum. The Haier Ultrabook is equipped with the lower end Intel Core i3-2367M processor (1.4GHz), making it less powerful, but likely more affordable, than Ultrabooks featuring Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs. NetbookNews.de is at IDF Bejing 2012 and got a hands on video of the Haier Ultrabook which you can see right here (video in German):
The Haier Ultrabook has a 14-inch display and is 21mm thick according to NetbookNews. The Windows Experience Index is shown to be 4.1 which gives you a point of reference of the power of the computer. It’s unlikely that the Haier Ultrabook will see release in the US, though it’ll surely be launched in China and likely several other nearby locations.
