Fujitsu UH572 Ultrabook Specs
We also checked out the UH572 back in May. The UH572 is cheaper than the U772 but also a bit thicker at 18mm and heavier at 1.5kg. The biggest difference between the UH572 and the U772 beyond thickness and weight is the side of the display; despite being heavier, the UH572 has a smaller 13.3″ screen at the same relatively low 1366×768 resolution.
The UH572 can only be configured with an Ivy Bridge Core i5, and comes standard with 4GB of 1600MHz RAM (max supported is 8GB). The only option for storage is a 500GB 5400RPM HDD with 32GB SSD cache.
For ports the UH572 offers 1x USB2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, full SD slot, 2x USB3.0, full HDMI, and mini LAN port (fore use with an adapter most likely).
You won’t find a fingerprint scanner or docking port here, but WiDi does come standard.
For a detailed list of full specs, see our UH572 database page.
UH572 Pricing and Availability
The UH572 appears to be available starting today (at least from Fujitsu US) starting at $999. This will make it a tough sell next to Lenovo’s U310 ($749) and Sony’s VAIO T13($769), both of which are close alternatives to the UH572.

It’s hard not to love that thin, thin bezel – but 768 at 14″ makes it a whole lot less impressive when laptops like the ux21a is released at the same time with 1080 IPS at 11.6″.
lovely ultrabook but why ,spoil it with a mediocre screen resolution, it would be nice if they offered better resolution as an option.
Most beautiful laptop ever made???
Should have a higher res @ 14″, especially for the price, but it’s just gorgeous.
