Techfokus.de have picked up a hands-on, specs and press images of the new Toshiba U840W That’s one w-i-d-e Ultrabook! The resolution is 1792×768 on a 14.4” diagonal screen.

Fancy some (very) wide screen movie and gaming action? The Toshiba U840W could be for you.   This is the first Ultrabook with a 21:9 screen. Toshiba have also revealed the U840 with a more traditional 16:9 screen, The Verge have the news, specs and a bunch of pics. We’re diving into it now and will bring you a more detailed post soon.

The ASUS S Series Ultrabooks are starting to reveal themselves. The S46 and S56, 14” and 15.6” devices have been filmed at Computex.

Using Nvidia’s Keplar Core, the GTX 680M is looking to break some new ground in Ultrabooks.   Nvidia had just made an announcement about the GTX680M, the next-step in their ultra mobile gaming graphics range.
