My son would like to introduce you to the Lenovo Ideatab Lynx keyboard Dock which completes the Ideatab Lynx order I placed last week. I’ve already put an early review out for the tablet but the review won’t be complete until I’ve spent some time with the keyboard. The unit cost 150 Euro and includes keyboard, mouse, 2xUSB 2.0 and a micro-USB charging port. This article has been updated after an extended testing session. See [update] sections below.

Thanks to some support fro Intel I’ve been able to spend time over the weekend to put together an Ultrabook Software Development primer and resource. In it you find an intro, some stats, resources lists and some very important software development articles from Intel, Microsoft and Ultrabooknews. Gorilla Glass covered screen, magnesium chassis, docking options and, […]

A ultra mobile PC with 5-7 inch screen, yes but the classic tablet pc with digitizer and 11.6 or greater screen size was too awkward for me, Too heavy to hold in one hand, with poor battery life and screen input limited to a pen with a focus on handwriting, was far from my idea of fun or productivity. The Lenovo Ideatab Lynx, an 11.6 inch tablet PC is a completely different story however and is easily the best 11.6 inch tablet […]

I had the opportunity to pick up a Lenovo Ideatab Lynx from the local store today and as it’s a new entrant to the Clovertrail tablet market I though it would be worth snapping it up for a test. The unboxing video is below. I haven’t got the keyboard dock yet but that should arrive next week.

At CES 2013 last week, Gigabyte re-announced the U2142 ‘Masterclass’ Ultrabook, a swiveling touchscreen unit based on Ivy Bridge which we heard about back in October. The company is upgrading the powerful U2442 gaming Ultrabook with a new Nvidia GPU and touchscreen.
