Computex is just days away, an Intel 4th-Gen Core launch party invite has gone out, we’ve spotted a ramp-up of Intel Ultrabook advertising and Intel have even slipped up with a 4th-Gen Core YouTube video that’s now been removed. Intel’s 4th-Gen Core, previously codenamed Haswell, will launch in the next days.
Google spotted an Intel 4th Gen Core launch video…which Intel have now removed!
It’s no secret that the Intel 4th-Gen Core will launch within the next few days and if PR companies follow their usual timelines it will be tomorrow, Thursday, that the launch will happen. Friday is never a good day and Saturday and Sunday are even worse. As Computex press day is on Monday, it just makes sense to get the PR done before the weekend. Or perhaps not given that most tech journalists will be available at any time on any day for this sort of important news. It doesn’t really matter because what we really want to know is when the Haswell Ultrabooks will be available, price points, new features and, if possible, get some CPU and GPU benchmarks from the floor at Computex. That all happens starting on Monday morning (Sunday evening for USA, shortly after midnight on Monday for Europe) at Computex.
Haswell – Our news on the Intel 4th-Gen Core.
We’ll be up at all hours tracking our contacts onthe floor, the live streams, PR news and screen upon screen of search and social network-sourced news. We’ll be hitting up Intel PR, marketing and product managers around the world for info too so stay tuned for the Ultrabook-focused news stream from Computex here at Ultrabooknews.com. Naturally we’ll be working on getting a sample in the studio ASAP.
Update: The Video is now live!
