Samsung are launching, as I type, the Samsung ATIV Book Q…
A hybrid with another completely new design, QuadHD+ (3200×1800) and weighing 1.2KG. Based on Haswell (Core i5 4200U with HD 4400 is confirmed as one of the options.)
Latest specifications will be added to the database. Samsung ATIV Q specifications here…

We’re tracking a Samsung event right now and will update this article as we get more information.
The Samsung ATIV Q comes with a dual operating system. Windows 8 and Android are provided with seamless switching. Android apps can be pinned onto Windows 8 start screen.

I think they just blew the Sony Duo 13 out of the water. But what price I wonder?
I want one with HD Graphics 5000 or 5100/5200!
I see a trackpoint and three mouse buttons in some pics which is good. I can’t tell if the screen angle is adjustable.
Anyway, I’d only get a tablet focused hybrid if it had an 11.6″ screen. Preferably even smaller. Super high PPI unnecessary but good viewing angles, contrast, color reproduction and outdoor visibility are a must.
Added mroe specs here and in database. New hands-on video available too.

Umm, it says 1500 Euros right there.
That means it’ll be $1500 in US. Wish I’d see a Core i5 version with HD 5000.
1500 Euros is a rumor right now but it wouldn’t be a surprise to me. This is a new-wave device.
24hrs after launch and one issue bubbles to the top for me. A 1.3KG 13.3″ tablet has many limitations.
I’m a little dissapointed we haven’t seen an ATIV 700T (dockable) upgrade with Haswell.
Agree, whether that model will be replaced remains to be seen but it looks like it has been discontinued, it is on discount at PCworld, and discontinued at Dabs.
I do wonder if this complicated hinge isn’t more expensive than the second display on Asus’ Taichi…
wow, where are the vents/fans on this things? its not like its not powerful enough and that is why im asking
The chip is in the hinge, so maybe the vent is on the bottom of the hinge.
