Sony seems to have a knack for releasing innovative, well built Ultrabooks like its VAIO Duo series and the VAIO Pro now has introduced the VAIO Flip Ultrabook range which can switch between laptop, tablet and viewer modes with a unique 2nd hinge design.

The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro has launched. It’s lighter, it runs Haswell and it’s still got a nice big battery inside. Weight is down to 1.39 Kg which isn’t incredibly light but seeing as the Yoga 13 was heavier, the Yoga 2 Pro could improve on its popularity. A very high resolution screen (3200×1800) tops the specifications. We’ve had some hands-on time. Check the video out below.

Today Lenovo is taking the wraps off of the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook, the successor to the successful Yoga which pioneered the 360 degree convertible form factor. The Yoga 2 Pro improves on the original in several ways, including an amazing 3200×1800 touchscreen display.

With Haswell Y-Series, the Toshiba W30T has the right platform for the design. You’ve got a docking keyboard with battery and up to 256GB of SSD in the tablet (or 500GB hard drive if you want!) The screen resolution of 1366×768 is disappointing, as is the ‘punch’ of the display but we’re told that this hybrid is only 649 Euro. I want to see that in writing though. Hands-on video below.

Impressive, Toshiba’s 480 gram Windows 8.1 Tablet is really nice. Assume BayTrail as you check out the pics and view the video below. Oh, and 299 Euro is for the 32GB version.

Just announced at IFA. The Toshiba W30DT, a 2-in-1 ‘Home’ Tablet with docking station. Interesting is that this one is running on AMD A4.
