The Acer Chromebook 13 (CB5 Series) runs on the Tegra K1 ARM-architecture platform and offers a couple of interesting options. Full HD screen and touch. Along with 11hrs battery life there’s a good price and  one of the prettiest designs around.

Three versions (at least) of the Acer Chromebook 13 exist. The cheapest comes with 2GB of ram and a matte 1366×768 screen. For that you’ll pay around $280. If you want 4GB of RAM and a full HD screen you’ll pay $379 or around €349 in Europe.  At IFA we tested a full HD glossy touchscreen version.

The keyboard feels good and although you probably won’t get 11 hours battery life in every usage scenario expect it to be good, if not the best in class. Laptopmag have reviewed the glossy full HD version.
