As the rumours surrounding the HP Windows 7 tablet continue to swirl and with no official response on the matter, no one is quite sure if the project is dead or not. For those who like the form factor and who aren’t interested in owning an Apple iPad, the Jumper JK01-TT may be of interest.
It’s a 10.1 inch tablet running Windows 7 and sports a 1024 x 600 multitouch display. The JK01-TT is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450, 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. It comes loaded with WiFi, 3G, USB, 4 in 1 card reader, 2MP webcam, accelerometer with autorotation and a 3000mAh battery.
I would estimate a possible 2 – 3 hours run time if you’re lucky but given its 1.2kg weight and slim dimensions (11.4 inch x 5.9 inch x 0.8 inch) it does make for a small, full-featured tablet.
As an added bonus the Jumper JK01-TT ships with a docking station, wireless mouse / keyboard and is available at Ownta costing €556.92

I have just purchased one of these and am awaiting delivery. This model is also known as the iiview M1Touch.
http://m1touch.com/support.php
If there is interest I’ll post a box opening.
Gary, an unboxing video would be great and keep us posted on your thoughts.
I have been informed that they are waiting for stock to be delivered on the 15th but would do their best to get one earlier.
I have been sent a user manual for the JK01-TT. I will check with the person who sent it to me and if ok I will add it to a download page on my web site then post a link here.
Does this have a capacitive screen? Looking at the video, im not so sure it does.
Peter,
Not sure if it has a capacitive screen but it has 2 touch points.
I have created a webpage to collate information and have added what I think is a user manual for the JK01-TT in the photo album. It doesn’t actually say JK01-TT bit I think it will provide more info
The webpage is very basic but I wil update it as I know more.

Interesting. I saw a lot of people express concern about having an HDMI output for an intel 950 video card, but your screenshot of the manual shows that it is an Inter 3150 card which would make a LOT more sense for this device.
I see on the m1touch site that there are 4 different versions, but they have no info on the video card other than it only has 64 MB of RAM.
The manuals show a 3150 with 256 MB of video RAM. I am hoping that is what comes with the ownta.com version.
I’ve posted a number of questions on the ownta forums http://www.ownye.com/showthread.php?t=2216 but I haven’t gotten any responses.
They also informed me that even though their website says ‘In Stock’ the item is actually out of stock for another week.
The basic user guide section in the manual mentions the M1Touch but the front cover graphic shows ‘TT’… Confused. It also mentions that it has a HDMI to VGA Interface…?
Ownta changed my order to say that I need to pay an additional $78 for 3G support after my original order already listed 3G support. I guess that this is because the manufacturer is shipping a different version now.
Also it apparently ships with a non-original version of Windows 7. So I would need to pay $80+ to get a copy of Home Premium in order to get the multi-touch support in the OS.
More information that I received is that the battery is not replaceable.
Also they do not know the details of the video card until the new stock arrives from the factory.
So while this still appears to be a great device, there remain some unanswered questions and significant additional costs.
I look forward to seeing more reviews and your unboxing video.
Thanks Pilar
I have also been told that the 3G will cost extra then later told that the manufacturer cannot install the 3G module internally.
Is the Jumper JK01-TT and the iiView M1 Touch the same thing? and if it is so WhY does it have 2 names?
I was one of the first to purchase the Jumper tablet and have been unable to get it to function successfully ever since.
I have contacted Ownta on several occassions expressing the problems that I’ve had and they keep giving me the run around and questioning what I’m doing wrong.
I eventually requested a refund which they denied because they said they cannot resell an opened product. I told them ” what about a defective product”? They told me to return it at my expense for warranty repair.
I was very excited to get this product and out of the package it looked great, but as I’ve become more familiar with it, I’m discovering 1 issue after the other. Everything form network communication to playing videos that start to drag about 5 minutes in.
Possibly mine is defective. I will continue to read here to follow your experiences.
They shipped mine to me with a Chinese manual. Here is the first time I’ve seen one in english.
Thanks
Hi Gary– any sight of your bad boy? Or an update from Ownta? Did they start shipping?
Hi Ian,
I have recently been told that the manufacturer is having troubles with the touchscreen or the touch interface.
I was asked if I would be willing to wait for a little longer.
….that was the last straw….
I asked for my money back, and they promptly sent me a paypal refund.
I have now given up on the idea of a tablet until the wrinkles are ironed out.
I am now back on my TC1100.
