For the last few days I’ve been following and conversing with a group of R2H owners in the UK who have just found out that their devices don’t include Bluetooth.
According to the response from ASUS, there are only a small number of R2H devices in the UK (6 according to one report) but if you’re about to buy one in the UK at the moment, please double check the specs before you buy.
[Update – the model number of the R2H without Bluetooth is: R2H-BH040T. The model being sold in Germany is: R2H-BH039T]
It looks like ASUS are going to sort the issue out for the customers but I can’t help thinking that if ASUS were a bit more open about where and when the ASUS is being released and in what specifications (many of their websites are still without R2H information and that includes Germany where they held a formal launch event.) that people would know when and what to expect from devices.
