According to a [url=http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20061127PB203.html]Digitimes[/url] report today, Asustek have sold more than 40,000 units since the R2H launch in September.
The sources attributed the better-than-expected sales of the R2H to Asustek targeting the automotive-use market instead of the usual notebook market.
This is good news for UMPCs in general. The more the devices circulate, the more people get to see them and understand what they are about although I haven’t really seen any automotive market targeting.
