Kevin Tofel (jkOnTheRun) has just reported that the Samsung Q1P (Pentium-M version) is up on the Samsung US website.
There’s a strange claim of 5 hours battery life which is not really possible if its got the same screen and HDD architecture as the Q1. There’s no ‘buy’ link either.
Also strange is that the Q1b page was unavailable when I tried it. I’ll assume that’s a temporary error.
In Europe, there’s no sign of the Q1b or Q1p yet. I’m not expecting the Q1P but we should see the Q1B with HSDPA modem in a week or two according to Samsung.The Q1B in the U.S. however, doesn’t have the cellular modem. Confusing.
I haven’t actually got a Q1P datasheet up on the portal yet. I’ll add that soon. Carrypad Samsung Q1 datasheet is available though.
