Nurian Z1

Aving.net have posted details about another uber-dictionary.

HANNURI BIZ unveiled the ‘Nurian Z1’, a temporary name for something that’s close to the intersection point of consumer UMPCs, High-end navigation devices, Uber-PMPs, Uber-Smartphones and of course, dictionaries. Apparently that’s what the Z1 is. A dictionary.

Since when did you need Win CE and what looks like an 800×480 screen to do find out how to spell? Apparently there’s a media streaming function too. It uses the built-in WiFi. If there’s a HDD built in, a cellular modem and if someone fancies writing an nice bit of overlay software and putting Opera on there, you have a nice little Carrypad platform. The shape doesn’t appease me but the architecture does.

Via Pocketables.
