Could work as a great portable home theater, as long as the battery is up to the task. With Nvidia Tegra 2, there shouldn't be a problem outputting 1080p video through the A7's HDMI port. Couple that with decent out-of-the-box codec and container support (see the 'Product Notes' section on this page), and a full sized USB 2.0 port (which can read flash drives up to 64GB), the A7 might be a nice portable home theater. It even comes with a 6-foot HDMI cable. No 3G options on the A7, so internet usage will be restricted to WiFi hotspots, or on the go by tethering to another device.

1080p out through HDMI. Includes a 6-foot HDMI cable, a USB 2.0 cable, and a wireless keyboard. Decodes H.264, H.263, and VC-1 video, and supports AVI, MP4, 3GP, ASF, MP3, OGA, and QT containers (according to official specs). Amazon product description says that the A7 supports "H.264, MPEG-4, DivX and Real Video with MOV, FLV, MP4, AVI, and MKV file formats"
