Netbook Navigator Nav 9, 9 inch, 900 grams (1.98 lbs) With multitouch, a tablet-enable build of Windows 7 (premium,) 2GB RAM, a 900gm weight and good entry level price, the Nav 9 helps to bring true, productive tablet PCs to the masses. Our only concern is the very small battery which we estimate to be worth up to a maximum of only 2.5 hours. An extended battery (about 150% capacity) will bring the capacity up to around 4 hours and at %50, is recommended because it's a custom install. Included carrying case and car charger rounds off a nice package. Note: 3G retro-fit should be possible with a PCI-Express mini module. (Unconfirmed) Question remains about removable battery. (We suspect not.) Options exist for 32, 64 and 128GB SSD.
Mobinnova Beam, 8.9 inch, 836 grams (1.84 lbs) If the Beam includes a true, Google, Android OS this will be one of the first ever non-phone products to be approved by Google. If not, the Android experience will be incomplete. (No marketplace or Google apps.) Build quality seems to be very good, it's lightweight and if the price is right, this really could be an interesting netbook / smartbook
Asus Eee PC T91MT, 9 inch, 953 grams (2.1 lbs) With a weight of under 1kg and a very small size, it's going to be interesting for mobile users.
Archos 9, 9 inch, 800 grams (1.76 lbs) A 9" Tablet-style PC is a rare occurrence. This is a Windows 7-based device that focuses on media. The chipset included is capable of 1080p and Windows 7 can certainly drive H.264 up to extremely high bitrates but the 1.1Ghz CPU with the 4200RPM hard drive seems to slow this device down to 'boring' levels.
